The Sulwhasoo flagship store on Dosan-daero, which first opened on March 30, 2016, was a space where you could feel the influence of K-beauty again. When I entered the space, I was overwhelmed by the atmosphere just looking at it with golden materials and lights. China's up-and-coming duo Neri&Hu, who was in charge of overall design and design, created a luxurious and elegant space by installing gold, frames and brass themes in accordance with the motto of ' a lantern that illuminates beauty' .

Exterior View .
The Sulwhasoo flagship store had a flashy exterior that could be seen right away
even if you went nearby. As you get closer, 
the entrance made up of countless metal frames and the exposed concrete exterior walls
stacked in blocks are in exquisite harmony and fit into one space.
The exterior was truly admirable,
and the exterior wall made of glass was enough to arouse curiosity
to the viewer with a clear view of the inside of the store.

Rooftop Floor .
As you go up to the rooftop, an open terrace appears.
The golden lattice frame was still there,
and a table and a sofa were placed in the middle to provide a space to relax with coffee or a drink.
The peculiar thing is that this flagship store has a spa,
and the floor is finished with stones and pebbles
so that you can relax on the terrace immediately after using the spa. It was novel.

It was regrettable that I couldn't capture the interior because indoor shooting was prohibited and I had to only shoot outside. 
As I looked around this flagship store, 
I could see that its influence with Korea's K-beauty industry was growing and growing, 
and it is not just a cosmetic store, but a landmark with architectural elements as well as experiences.
I think it's remarkable that a space that can be assigned is created.
