Nest Hotel, located on Yeongjong Island, Incheon, as its name suggests, was shaped like a nest built in a deserted field. The hotel, which was built minimally in exposed concrete on the ground with brown sand and reeds, was reminiscent of a North Korean building from a distance. I visited the Nest Hotel, which is as unique as its appearance, and captured the appearance of the hotel on the camera.

Enterance .
The entrance of Nest Hotel is minimal. 
There was an entrance with a square window between the wall and 
a frame made of concrete without any color. 
The name of the hotel inscribed in an intaglio felt quite
different from other hotels in Las Vegas, 
where neon signs flashed, and the name of the hotel naturally melted
so that it was difficult to find the name of the hotel
at first glance fits well with the concept of the building. to be.

Windows & Grid .
As you can see from the exterior seen from a distance, 
the exterior of the building was a harmony of a straight line and a flat side, 
and it could not be found as a curved side. 
The architecture, complete with only glass and concrete materials, 
with color and detail suppressed as much as possible, 
seems to clearly express the intention of the architect.
He screamed silently at the elaborately designed building,
as if the corners would be cut when touched.

Reception & Lobby .
The exterior walls of the interior painted all over white
and the floor finished with black bricks contrasting
with them create a monotone charm. 
As I went down half the floor with the cute child behind,
a space with a yellow carpet greeted me.
Christmas had not passed since the time I visited,
so a big Christmas tree greeted me.
When I looked up and looked at the ceiling,
it seemed that the windows and frames made of square frames,
like the exterior, all gave a unified feeling, making use of the charm of this building.

Semi-basement hall .
The semi-basement space,
illuminated by a yellow carpet and light bulb-colored lighting that
gives a sense of unity, was connected by a glass wall so that you could go outside.
When you go out to the outside terrace,
you can see the sea in front of Yeongjongdo Island
and the wide reed field at a glance.
The hay and dry flowers arranged in the middle of the hotel
emphasized the charm of the yellow lighting.

Cafeteria .
The cafeteria spreading in pure white was a dazzlingly white world.
It was a restaurant that showed the cleanliness of white,
as even the plates and dishes were made in pure white.
Tables and chairs are prepared in natural wood color,
so they naturally melt into a space that can be too white and burdensome,
so they are positioned so that the eyes are not tired.

The sunset shines .
As soon as I left the building, the sunset was over.
Since it is a building with no color tone,
the exterior wall was naturally colored pink when the sunset came,
transforming it into a colorful building, creating a landscape.
The appearance of the building contrasting in pink under the clear
blue sky was beautiful, so I was drunk on it and couldn't move for a while and enjoyed it.
It seems that I found a hotel I like enough to want to go on a
personal vacation rather than shooting.
